La ceremonia de la 96ª edición de los Oscar el domingo 10 de marzo, contará con Jimmy Kimmel como anfitrión, quien no presentaba la ceremonia desde 2018.

Sin novedad en el frente, distribuida y producida por Netfiix, ganó cuatro premios Oscar, incluido el de Mejor Película Internacional.

Ana De Armas fue la primera actriz cubana nominada a mejor actriz, por su papel de Marilyn Monroe en Blonde.

Angela Bassett también obtuvo otra primicia en la ceremonia, convirtiéndose en la primera actriz en recibir una nominación para un papel en una película de Marvel. Fue nominada a mejor actriz de reparto por su interpretación de la reina Ramonda en Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. La película ganó por diseño de vestuario.
